The staff here are polite and pleasant, and the location is amazing with easy access to the city center, conference center, botanical garden, and the lake.

Spacious rooms with high ceilings, had more character than modern hotels. Reception staff spoke very good English and were most helpful. We had a draught beer in the bar in the evening and we were given complimentary peanuts. The continental buffet style breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel was 5-10 minutes walk from the subway, and had a hop-on-hop-off tourist bus stop within 100 yards.
